ABOUT US
Our name was derived from the book Memoirs of Hernando d'Escalante Fontaneda, written in about 1575 and translated into English by Buckingham Smith in 1854. This is the first written description of Florida, its Indians, and the Everglades. Our luncheon meetings are on Saturdays this year in order to accomodate as many members as possible. Our projects combine the goals of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution with social fun and individual growth. Please come join us as we continue our service to "God, Home, & Country". |
